WhatsApp Starts Getting Video Calling Feature

Andriod users can finally experience Video call on their phones via Whatsapp.This feature has been released today to all.
It was been tested in the beta mode for some time now and finally Whatsapp has released it in its latest beta update.
The update is not yet availiable on Google Play store but will be availiable soon.
The official APK file can be downloaded from the Whatsapp site from today.
To download the file you will have to register to their Beta Testing Programme.

ABOUT VIDEO CALLING
Video calling can be accessed from the calls tab. For making a video call, users will have to tap on the dialler icon present alongside the search icon.
 On pressing the dialler icon, you will get an option to either make a Whats-app voice call or video call. In case, the receiver is still using an old version of the app (or is not part of the beta testing program) will get a prompt saying "Couldn't place call" followed by text.Both have to be part of Beta Testing.

This feature as of now only availiable to ANDRIOD users.

Meizu another Chinese company trying to make its way in the Indian market with its Budget oriented smartphones has now launched another smartphone in India.
Meizu m3s was launched today in India.

Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus Start Receiving Android 7.0 Nougat Update 

Motorolla has been consistent in providing the latest updates to its smartphones right from Moto G.
Motorolla has started giving OTA update of Andriod 7.0 to Moto G4 and G4 plus from yesterday in India and it's users will get the updates gradually.
Lenovo has started soak testing which means a few users will get the update and then if any issues are reported those will be fixed and then it will be released to other devices.This method is been followed by most companies to test their OTA updates.
Therefore before updating the device users should once confirm with others and then Update their devices to the latest Andriod Version.

 SOME THINGS TO TAKE NOTE OF:-
  • The company warns users that the update should be downloaded and installed on when the phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
  • And only if the phone has more than 50 percent charge.
  • If users have received a notification message for the update, they should then select "Yes, I'm in", and once the update is downloaded, click on Install Now. 
  • Those who haven't received a message should go to Settings > About Phone > System updates, and then if an update is available, follow the above process.

Vodafone To Offer Free Incoming On National Roaming 


Vodafone India's most popular telecom operator has come with the most awaited and a necessary offer for Indian Users who travel across India. 
Vodafone will offer Free Incoming On National Roaming starting Diwali.That means users will not have to cut short their conversations while roaming and take the incoming calls worry free.
This move was expected after Jio's free outgoing calls and No Roaming Across India.

"Even though outgoing charges while roaming had become comparable to home charges, consumer research has shown that incoming charges while roaming have been a hindrance to worry free usage," Mr Kataria said.

BSNL is been providing free incoming on roaming from a long time.

All the telecom operators now will think upon making roaming free across India after Vodafone's move.

Amazon launches 'Global Store' in India 



E-commerce site Amazon has now launched its Global Store in India.Which means that now we can buy a variety of products from US directly from Amazon Global Store.
The Price will be shown in Indian RS directly.No need to convert the currency.
Customers in India now can have access to over 4 million products from international brands.this will help Amazon strengthen its Online market in India.
"Enhancing shopping experience for customers is one of the key pillars for us. With Global Store, customers in India will now have direct access to thousands of international brands and a starting selection of over 4 million global products," Amazon India VP and Country Head Amit Agarwal told. 

Amazon have a dedicated page for all the products that can be bought from its Global store.And of-course there may be shipping charges incurred on the costumers and the delivery may take some time(2-12 days as said by Amazon)

But "Prices shown to customers will include product price, import fees deposit and shipping fees (based on delivery option selected) in INR for ease of purchase," he said.

It has been found that Moto E3 launched just last month may NOT get the latest Nougat 7.0 update which will disappoint many MOTO fans as it is known for providing latest updates to its smartphones.
