Jio finally have launched their feature phone with some features that a feature phone do not have even if it is a higher priced phone.

• The phone also comes with NFC (Near Field Communication) support and as per Jio, users in future could use it to store their credit/debit card details to make payments, something like Samsung Pay.

Is it really a ZERO RUPEE phone?

NO.OR MAY BE YES FOR SOME      

To avoid the misuse of the phone,a refundable security deposit of Rs. 1,500,has to be paid which will be credited back to the customers after three years.

Only if the phone is returned back after 3 years the money will be refunded to the users.

In short the phone can be used for free till 3 years.

WHAT ARE THE OFFERS THAT JIO PHONE WILL COME WITH?

• The JioPhone plans will start from Rs. 153 (500MB daily FUP for high-speed data), a revised Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan plan especially suited for the JioPhone users. It will offer unlimited 4G data and of course free local and STD calls, apart from free SMS services.
• Customers looking to expand the entertainment quotient provide by JioPhone onto big screens will have the option to go in for the JioPhone TV-Cable and a Rs. 309 plan, which will enable them to mirror JioTV and JioCinema content straight to big screens such as televisions.
• There will also be low-validity small sachets of Rs. 24 for 2 days and Rs. 54 for 7 days

 AVAILABILITY?

• JioPhone trials will start from August 15 i.e., 'Independence Day', but will only be available to a limited number of users.
• The pre-bookings for the JioPhone will begin from August 24, and can be done via the My Jio app and Jio retailers. The first batch of phones will reach customers on a first come first serve basis from September.

It is a great feature phone with voice commands and at a price of RS 1500 it is a great buy.

The phone like Jio sim-cards will be at high Demand and Experts say that there will be Blackmarketing of the phones.
