Yes finally India takes the BOLD step or rather the first step towards strengthening the Security and the Defense system of INDIA.
The news of banning some Chinese apps have been making rounds on the Social media and finally the Government has taken the decision in the fight against Online Security of our Indian army and the people of India.
We were expecting strict measures to be taken at least in the online segment as data of the users of one country can be very beneficial and a weapon against the other country.
Nowadays bigger wars are Online than on the Battlefields and these Online wars can be more destructive than the later.
In a statement, by the government it said the apps were blocked "in view of information available they are engaged in activities which is prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defense of India, security of state and public order".
The Ministry of Information and Technology in a release said that these Chinese apps pose a threat to India “in view of information available they are engaged in activities which is prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order.”
This move has been welcomed by most and this move was expected much before but it is a welcome move sooner or later
