Reliance Jio's 1Gbps Broadband Service Testing Started

Reliance Jio a household name by now which changed the way telecom market was going on without any price limits, exorbitant rates for data, calls and asking their customers to pay more for using their services .
We all know this and now Jio is looking to overtake the broadband market and disrupt it altogether.
Now lets see what they have for us.

Mukesh Ambani  had said that "The Reliance Jio broadband's network will offer network speeds of up to 1Gbps to subscribers. Hitting speeds of up to 1Gbps could result in Reliance Jio broadband users being able to download a movie within seconds".

The testing of the Broadband services have been started in Mumbai with a free usage of 3 months of broadband usage and than to give the feedback.Only few users will get this chance as it requires a lot of installation process and with that comes some charges and makes it a sort of Freepaid service.
Some residents in Mumbai have been using the Jio broadband service, the service in fact isn't official and is still in its testing phase - you cannot call the company to request for a Reliance Jio broadband connection, unless it's already in your area or building.

IT IS STILL IN TESTING PHASE AND WILL REQUIRE TIME TO BE OFFICIAL AND CAN EXPECT THE LAUNCH ONLY AFTER THESE 3 MONTHS AND THERE MAY NOT BE FREE USAGE AFTER ITS LAUNCH BUT THERE WILL BE OFFERS WITH IT'S INSTALLATION.

The catch in this free usage is that users will have to pay Rs. 4,500 for installation and router. After the trial ends, Reliance Jio will collect the router and refund the money if the user doesn't wish to continue with the broadband service.

During this testing phase the Jio broadband service has a FUP limit of 100GB data at full speed every month. Post the usage of the data, the Reliance Jio broadband service's speed will go way down to 1Mbps. As of now, nothing is known about the Reliance Jio broadband plans that will be available post the trial period.

We will update you more on this as soon as we get to know more about this or get a chance to use the services. As of now the average speed experienced by users is around 100Mbps and that quiet fast.

This service is not available to everyone and is provided on some criteria which will be known to ones who are using them.
